Workshop Overview
Alongside our private workplace workshops, AiLab are delivering a series of public 'Responsible Generative AI in Business' workshops.
Held in Portsmouth, this intensive, 4-hour hands-on workshop teaches you how to responsibly leverage the latest Generative AI (GenAI) tools (such as ChatGPT, Copilot etc).
This workshop includes light refreshments and will be led by the Co-founder and Head of AiLab, Dr. John Flackett (PhD in Artificial Intelligence) – a globally recognised AI specialist and educator with over 30 years of AI experience.

Registrations and refreshments will be at 9.00am with the workshop commencing at 9.30am. The workshop will finish at 1.30pm.

Workshop Requirements
To make the most out of this workshop and join in the hands-on activities, participants should have an internet connected device (e.g., laptop), as well as access to one of the common text-based Generative AI models, such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Gemini, etc. A paid version is preferred, but this workshop can be undertaken using the free versions offered by the major providers.

This event will take place on Tuesday 2nd June 2026 at 9.30am (Refreshments at 9.00am) and will be held at Leonardo Royal Hotel Grand Harbour (Eaton Suite), 5 West Quay Road, Southampton, UK SO15 1AG.
Parking is availble in the car park on the left hand side of the hotel on a first come first served basis. There is a special rate of £7 for workshops attendees. Please ensure you enter your car registration number into the machine at reception upon arrival.
Please head to the Eaton Suite in the hotel once you have completed your parking registration.
