AiLab & Solent Growth Partnership: Helping 100 companies learn about Generative AI

In 2025-2026, AiLab collaborated with Solent Growth Partnership to deliver a series of exclusive, public Artificial Intelligence workshops across the UK's Solent Region.

We were proud to deliver five sold-out 'Responsible Generative AI in Practice' workshops for 100 companies in three locations – Southampton, Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight (see full location details below).

AiLab's custom intensive 3-hour, hands-on workshop taught participants how to responsibly leverage the latest Generative AI (GenAI) tools (such as ChatGPT, Copilot etc) for immediate workplace impact, boosting efficiency and productivity.

Participants identified their business's AI readiness and learnt expert techniques for writing prompts, streamlining complex tasks and mitigating risks. These workshops provided practical tools and showed how to integrate AI safely and strategically.

Business participants were from a variety of sectors and upon completing the workshop received AiLab's certificate of completion, ready-to-use prompt template and online prompt tool, personalised workflows, an ethical checklist and exclusive access to supporting digital resources.

These workshops was led by AiLab's Co-founder and Head, Dr. John Flackett (PhD in Artificial Intelligence) – a globally recognised AI specialist and educator with over 30 years of AI experience.
